GLENVIEW, IL (June 22, 2010) — BL Restaurant Operations has announced the opening of their 46 Bar Louie location nationwide (and the 10th franchise location) under Sun Financial in Skokie, Illinois. The restaurant and bar, owned and operated by Lakhani Hospitality, Inc will be located in the Holiday Inn North Shore hotel.

Bar Louie is a casually cool neighborhood restaurant and bar that specializes in oversized signature sandwiches and handcrafted specialty cocktails, along with an extensive selection of small and large plates.

Menu standouts include small plates like Tempura Shrimp with a trio of dipping sauces (buffalo, Szechwan, and Thai-chili), chicken nachos, as well as an array of two-handed sandwiches like the Luigi sandwich with shaved ribeye, and an array of burgers and large plates featuring tacos to pasta dishes. Signature cocktails include mojitos, margaritas and martinis. An extensive draft beer (30 on tap) and wine list round out the menu.

Bar Louie Skokie is slated to open Wednesday, July 7th and will be open daily for the Holiday Inn express breakfast from 6 am to 11 am daily, as well as for lunch, dinner and late-night dining 11 am to 2 am Sunday through Thursday and 11 am to 3 am on Friday and Saturday. $2 burgers are available every Tuesday.

The 3,000 square foot restaurant seats approximate 150 guests and is located at 5300 W Touhy Avenue.
