GLENVIEW, IL (April 20, 2010) - Bar Louie America has announced the opening of their 49th Bar Louie location nationwide (and 9th franchise) in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This is the 7th Bar Louie location in Michigan.

Bar Louie is a casually cool neighborhood restaurant and bar that specializes in oversized signature sandwiches and handcrafted specialty cocktails, along with an extensive selection of small and large plates.

Menu standouts include small plates like Tempura Shrimp with a trio of dipping sauces (buffalo, Szechwan, and Thai-chili), Loaded Fries or Tots (with bacon, queso, and scallions), pizzas, wings, and sliders. As well as an array of two-handed sandwiches like the Luigi sandwich with shaved ribeye, and an array of burgers with unique toppings from the Backyard BBQ (with cheddar, bacon, and fried onions) to the Chicago Stockyard (peppercorn crust, Worcestershire sauce, parmesan-blue cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, onion and tomato); and large plates featuring tacos to pasta dishes—Bar Louie truly has something for everyone. Brunch is served everyday (breakfast burrito, fresh fruit platter) all day and has more brunch choices on the weekends (pancakes, steak and eggs) Specialty cocktails include mojitos, margaritas and martinis. An extensive draft beer (40 on tap) and wine list round out the menu.

Bar Louie Auburn is slated to open May 3rd, and is open daily for lunch, dinner and late-night dining from 11 am to 2 am. The entire menu is available until 2 am everyday. Daily happy hour specials include $3 drafts, $ glasses of wine, $5 martinis and half-priced appetizers Monday through Friday between 4 pm and 7 pm.

Bar Louie Auburn Hills is located at 4930 Baldwin Road in the Great Lakes Crossing Mall. The 8,000 square foot restaurant seats approximate 220 and comes with two 1,400 square foot patios (one inside the mall that seats 40 and one outside that seats 60).
